Join us for what promises to be a riveting discussion on Challenging Uncomfortable Truths between the BBC’s Kamal Ahmed and Unilever’s Chief Marketing Communications Officer, President of the Advertising Association, and WFA’s Global Marketer of the Year 2018, Keith Weed.
Media Trust Trustee and BBC News Editorial Director Kamal Ahmed will be quizzing Keith on:
– A stellar marketing career that has been marked by provocative campaigns challenging uncomfortable truths and championing change in gender stereotyping across advertising;
– Why trust in advertising is at an all-time low, the role of the media industry and what to do to build trust;
– How to achieve systemic change through collaborative partnerships with the UN and other industry players to restore the public’s trust.
Hosted at Academy London, Victoria, doors open at 18:00 and the discussion will begin at 18:30.
