Media Trust x Edelman Masterclass COP26 – How to land your charity’s climate story in the media About this event...
Women’s Voices 2020
London Academy, SW1W 9SH
Thursday 5 March 2020 12:45 - 17:30
Our Women’s Voices event will bring together 150 committed media and creative industry professionals who want to share their communication skills and expertise to help 30 charities that support, campaign and advocate for women and girls.
Back for a fourth year running, we will be celebrating International Women’s Day by bringing together 30 female-focussed charities with 150 media and creative industry volunteers for an afternoon of creative brainstorming and advice to raise the profile and voice of women and girls, and the issues that affect them.
The afternoon will also include a light lunch on arrival, a showcase of key ideas and discussion points, and finish with networking and drinks.
How it works
Thirty charities that support women and girls will be selected to take part. Each successful charity will be matched with a team of four to six media and creative volunteers who have the expertise and skill set to work on the charity’s unique communications challenge.
Applications are now closed for charities and volunteers.

A time to celebrate women
International Women’s Day is a time to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in history. It is a day to collectively help women advance and we’re supporting organisations to do this by raising the profile of their work.
This year’s theme is #EachforEqual focussing on gender equality within business and the economy.
Media Trust promotes equality and diversity. We positively welcome applications from transgender individuals and charities working with the transgender community.
