Friday 8 March 2019 10:00 - 14:00

If your charity supports women and girls, or is looking to raise awareness, engage with or drive action among women, then we invite you to apply for a place at our Women’s Voices event.

Join us on International Women’s Day 2019, for a morning of creative brainstorming and advice from your own dedicated team of media and creative industry experts.

Free advice from media and creative industry pros

For a third year we will be celebrating International Women’s Day by providing charities that support, campaign and advocate for women and girls with an opportunity to get strategic advice and mentoring from media and creative volunteers from organisations such as Google, Facebook, WPP, Bloomberg and many more!

“The session with the volunteers was invaluable to us. The group have helped us carve out a plan of action and helped solidify our brand.”

Valentina Lewis, UK-Bangladesh Education Trust (UKBET)

Each successful charity will be matched to a team of media and creative volunteers and will receive bespoke advice on their communications challenge.

You’ll also hear from the inspirational Kate Dale, Head of Campaign Strategy at Sport England and the brain behind the multi-award winning campaign, This Girl Can.

  • Please only submit one application per charity
  • All successful applicants will prepare a communications brief and short presentation to share with your team of volunteers

You can find a full list of terms and conditions here. The deadline for applications is Monday 4 February at 9:00am. Successful charities will be notified by Friday 8 February.

A time to celebrate women

International Women’s Day is a time to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in history. It is a day to collectively help women advance and we’re supporting organisations to do this by raising the profile of their work.

Media Trust promotes equality and diversity. We positively welcome applications from transgender individuals and charities working with the transgender community.
