About this opportunity

We about to implement an exciting rebrand of our fast-growing, award-winning food social enterprise. As a key part of this - we will launch a new website, based on the Squarespace platform - and we are looking for some help with the website design. Your design will be guided by a comprehensive brand guide and a range of existing digital assets. You will work closely with our Directors, you will help to bring our brand to life and help us to engage customers, which in turn will enable us to grow our social impact amongst people facing unemployment across London. You don't need to be a web expert - but ideally you would be familiar with Squarespace, know what makes a great website, and be comfortable setting up an e-commerce function. This role can be done remotely - and is an opportunity to use your skills to make a significant impact at an exciting stage in our growth, and to help us in our mission to harness the power of food to transform lives and enrich our community.

More About

Bloom Bakery and Catering

Bloom Bakery and Catering is a social enterprise tackling unemployment and social exclusion in South East London. We offer a programme of vocational training, work experience and support to people who have been out of work for more than 12 months and face a complex range of circumstances that make it difficult to access employment. These include: disabilities and long term health conditions, poor mental health, caring responsibilities or homelessness. Often, the people we work with find it difficult to engage with mainstream employment support, but are looking for a way to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence to move towards work. We operate a social enterprise model, selling high quality bakery and catering products to individual and corporate customers, reinvesting all our income in increasing the training we provide for people facing barriers to employment.
