Tuesday 18 January 2022 14:00 - 16:00
On Tuesday 18 January, Media Trust will run a free masterclass in partnership with di:ga Communications on strategic communications and using the media and digital communications to drive change.
di:ga provides media and communications advice to not-for-profits including Chatham House, Greenpeace and Human Rights Watch. They help organisations convey their message clearly and effectively to bring about positive change.
During this session, which will be tailored for equality organisations, you will learn how to develop a communications strategy and will be given a comms strategy template to take away. The trainers will walk you through the process of ensuring your comms – as an organisation or on a specific project – are as strategic as possible. This includes thinking through your overall objectives, your key target audiences, key messages, priority communications channels, and creative tactics (including media and digital), as well as how to measure impact.
This masterclass is two hours long and will include a break and plenty of time for Q&A.
