Join us for this FREE one day session on vlog-making for young people (aged 16 - 25). Learn how to create a vlog and tell the world about the causes you are passionate about!

Vlogging Training

Improve your confidence and learn how to shoot and edit using your mobile phone. During the session you will be taught how to create powerful and compelling vlogs using your smartphone.

By taking part in the workshops you will:

  • Improve communication and media skills, whilst learning how to voice your opinions in an engaging way.
  • Learn how to use the latest in video editing apps
  • Learn essential presenting techniques that will help in job interviews and future careers.
  • Learn how to produce videos that can advertise or support campaigns or social action projects.

Your chance to win!

At the end of the workshop, you will be invited to submit your best video blogs into the Vlogstar Challenge competition.

The overall winner will receive £500 of camera equipment, £2000 for a youth organisation of choice plus 1-2-1 mentoring from YouTube.

This free workshop is delivered in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, YouTube and the London Evening Standard, as part of the 2018 Vlogstar Challenge programme.

What do I need to bring?

Please make sure you bring a fully charged smartphone or tablet with adequate space available.

What is the easiest way to get to the workshop?

White City and Wood Lane are the nearest Tube stops. From there it is a 3 minute walk to the Media Trust offices.
