Marketers share their knowledge with charities in new ‘Marketing Campaigns’ guide

Posted 12 September 2018

The second in our five-part series of Stronger Voices marketing and communications guides for charities launches today.

‘Marketing Campaigns’ is free to download from the Media Trust website. Take ten minutes out of your busy day to soak up insights from Greg Ashton, Digital Strategist at agency Reason Digital; Naomi Westland, Football Welcomes Manager at Amnesty International UK and Caroline Holmes, Account Director at global PR powerhouse and Media Trust partner, Weber Shandwick.

What will I learn?

Reason Digital’s Greg Ashton will talk you through the practicalities of building your campaign strategy, from identifying who ‘you’ are as an organisation, setting objectives and establishing your audience through to messaging and campaign planning.

Get inside the workings of Amnesty International UK’s Football Welcomes campaign as Naomi Westland share her insights from running a nationwide campaign on a shoestring budget. (Something many charities can relate too!)

Finally, Caroline Holmes, one of PR Weeks’s 30 under 30, shares her top for a successful marketing campaign.

Whether your embarking on putting together your first ever marketing campaign or just want a quick refresher, you’ll find the guide useful.

If you haven’t already, you can download our first Stronger Voices guide ‘Communications for Change’ here. The guide, which launched last week, is filled with tips and best practice on effective messaging.

Coming soon

Next Wednesday will see the release of our third guide, ‘Social Media’ featuring Digital Consultant and Blogger, Andrew Davis; Sebastian Baird, Digital Manager at Rethink Mental Illness and Bonita Samuels, Senior Social Media Planner at MediaCom- don’t miss it!

The Stronger Voices guide series forms part of the wider Stronger Voices training programme created in partnership with the Equality an Diversity Forum and funded by City Bridge Trust, designed to help strengthen the voices of London’s equality sector.
