Health Equals Lived Experience Spokespeople Training Q&A

Health Equals new campaign supports small and medium enterprises on how they can support employees who have health limiting conditions to stay in employment. We’re looking for people across the UK who are living with an ongoing health condition and have experienced the challenges of staying in work, balancing work and health, or leaving work because of their health, to become spokespeople for the campaign and share their stories.

Whether you have benefited from support from your employer, struggled to get the adjustments or flexibility you needed, or experienced the impact that leaving employment has had on your health, finances or wellbeing, we want to hear from you.

As part of the programme, you’ll take part in Media Trust’s six-week training programme supporting you to develop the communication skills and confidence to tell your story and advocate for better working policies that support people with health limiting conditions. We’ll cover developing your story for written communication and being on camera as video content is central to this campaign.
