How charities can stay visible, trusted and funded with rising costs

29 Jul

Wednesday 29 July 2026 13:00 - 14:00

Join our panel to learn how charities can keep their comms shining, even when costs are rising

When finances are under pressure, good communications can be one of your most powerful tools. That’s why Media Trust has brought together an expert panel to support charities facing rising costs.

The panel brings together expertise in funding, partnerships and communications. We’ll explore how a thoughtful approach to communications can actively support financial resilience, and what that looks like in practice for smaller charities with limited resources.

Why should you attend?

When resources are stretched, it can be tempting for communications to slip down the priority list. But staying visible and connected with your audiences is more important than ever.

Regular, honest and purposeful communications help supporters understand your impact, help funders see the value of your work, and reassure the communities you serve that you’re still there for them.

This session will explore how small charities can use their communications strategically, even with limited time and budget, to strengthen relationships, build trust and support long-term sustainability.

What you’ll leave with

  • Practical ideas for keeping donors, funders and supporters engaged, even with limited time and budget
  • Approaches to communicating impact, need and gratitude in ways that resonate and inspire action
  • An understanding of what funders and partners look for, and how good communications strengthens your case

Who should attend?

This session is for anyone in a smaller charity thinking about sustainability, supporter relationships or how to stay visible during a difficult period.
