We’ve teamed up with Dentsu to run a free masterclass for environmental and climate charities on measuring the impact of your campaigns and communications.

In this session you’ll learn to measure the reach and impact of your climate campaigns and communications.
We’ll share insights from Dentsu, a global advertising agency whose data-driven strategies have helped launch, re-invigorate and re-position businesses including Heineken, American Express, DAZN, Vodafone and Asahi.
Attendees will take away tangible learnings and results-driven strategies to apply within their own organisations.
This event will be run as part of the Media Trust’s Weston Communicating Climate Programme, which supports UK environmental and climate charities to extend the reach, power and impact of their communications.

Matt Cross, Global Head of Strategic and External Communications, has nearly 20 years of experience working agency-side with some of the world’s most well-known and dynamic tech brands.
This masterclass will be an opportunity to learn and explore the following topics:
- Understand why measuring impact is important for successful communications: Proving the value of your work and training senior leaders about what is and what isn’t worth measuring.
- Understand what metrics are important to measure for a particular piece of communications or a campaign: Using the AMEC valid metrics frameworks to pick the right metrics for your organisation.
- Gain the skills to evaluate communications, meaningfully interpret results and make adaptations: How to use measurement insights to inform strategy and elevate the role of communications in your organisation.
- Learn practical tips and tools for how to measure impact: The best free tools and techniques to support your PR measurement.
This session is aimed at climate and environmental charities, as well as charities working intersectionally on the environment and other issues.
