Campaigns for change with MG OMD
MG OMD, SE1 0SW
Thursday 8 October 2026 12:00 - 16:30
Work with media and marketing experts to help your charity campaign reach the audiences who need it most
Are you a London-based charity working to advance racial justice, gender equity or LGBTQ+ equality? Are you planning a campaign and looking for free expert marketing support?
Media Trust has partnered with media agency MG OMG to offer four charities the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of skilled volunteers. Together, you’ll develop practical recommendations to help strengthen your campaign and maximise its impact.
What you’ll gain
Whether you want to better understand your audience, refine your messaging, or encourage more people to take action, you’ll receive tailored support based on your campaign goals.
By the end of the programme, you’ll have:
- Practical recommendations tailored to your campaign
- Fresh audience and communications insights
- A clearer campaign strategy
- A prioritised action plan to help you move forward with confidence
How it works
Before the challenge day, each selected charity will create a brief outlining the campaign you would like support with.
We’ll then match you with a dedicated team of MG OMD volunteers with expertise across marketing strategy, audience insight, campaign effectiveness and media planning.
Together, you’ll explore insights, test ideas and develop practical recommendations that you can take away and put into action.
Key dates:
- 8 September: Online charity briefing
Find out how to get the most from the opportunity and refine your campaign brief before meeting your volunteer team. - 1 October: Online meet and greet
Meet your volunteer team, explore your campaign in more detail and begin developing ideas together. - 8 October: In-person Challenge Day
Spend the afternoon working alongside your volunteer team to develop recommendations and turn them into a practical action plan. The session will take place at MG OMD’s offices in Bankside, London.
