Pitching in a Pandemic
On Wednesday 17 June, as part of our Virtual Digital Communications Training Series, Media Trust will be running a free webinar supported by the BBC on how to get your charity’s story into the news. Join us and learn directly from three leading journalists ‘How to pitch in a pandemic’.

The webinar will begin with a series of presentations, followed by a live curated question and answer session with three journalists. Simply register for the event and submit your question in the form when prompted.

Pitching
Find out how to catch a busy editor’s eye and what makes a good pitch.
Providing content in lockdown
Learn the do’s and don’ts of a media interview conducted on platforms like Zoom or Skype and practical tips for creating video content yourself using just a smartphone.

This is open to anyone who wants to pitch your charity’s story to the media.
