TikTok for charities: Inspiring others to share your story
Wednesday 25 June 2025 10:30 - 12:00

Learn how to encourage and curate supporter-created content that grows your reach and raises your charity’s profile on TikTok.
TikTok continues to be a powerful platform for charities, helping you reach new audiences, raise awareness and connect with communities in engaging and creative ways. But you don’t have to do it all yourself. The real magic happens when your community gets involved.
In this 90 minute session, you’ll join PR and media relations specialist Hayley Knight, co-founder of BE YELLOW, to explore how to inspire others to create and share TikTok content that supports your mission.
You’ll learn how to encourage your supporters to post about your cause, how to re-share user-generated content (UGC) in a way that aligns with your message, and how to make the most of what your community is already creating.
There’ll also be time for an open Q&A at the end, so bring your questions, content challenges or campaign ideas and get tailored advice from Hayley.
We’ll cover:
- How to make TikTok work for your team: Encourage content from your supporters, ambassadors and community without creating everything yourself.
- How others are doing it: Get examples of user-generated content that’s helped charities grow their reach and visibility.
- Real tips: From how to ask people to post, to how to reshare safely and effectively, you’ll get practical advice you can act on right away.
