Twitter 101 Masterclass for International Women’s Day

Media Trust is partnering with Twitter to deliver a free masterclass in celebration of International Women’s Day.

About the Masterclass

On Thursday 10 March, Media Trust will be running a free masterclass in partnership with Twitter on how to maximise your reach.

If your charity supports all women and girls, and there are aspects of your Twitter strategy that you would like to get advice on, you have a campaign on the horizon or a new audience you would like to engage, this event is an excellent way to get on the spot advice, ideas and feedback directly from Twitter experts.

This session will primarily focus on organic content use (i.e. regular posts on Twitter that you don’t pay for), and will also include time for Q&A.

Learning outcomes:

  • Gain a full overview of Twitter best practises and safety
  • Get your head around audience insights and analytics and the importance of defining your voice and building engagement in your community
  • Understand how to think about content best practices to better inform your Twitter strategy
  • How to gain organic reach with no budget

To be eligible to apply your organisation must meet the following criteria:

  • Support, campaigns or advocates for all women and girls;
  • UK Registered Charity or Community Interest Company;
  • Support beneficiaries from more than one of the nine protective characteristics detailed in the Equality Act (2010);
  • One member of staff must be available to attend the event who has communications as part of their job role and/or is a senior leader who is interested in developing their organisation’s digital communications.
