Working with Influencers: The basics for charities
Thursday 5 November 2026 13:00 - 14:30
Could influencers help your charity reach new audiences?
Influencer marketing isn’t just for big brands and big budgets. The right creator can help your charity reach new audiences, tell powerful stories and build genuine connections with communities who might not otherwise encounter your work.
But how do you find influencers who genuinely align with your cause? What makes a good partnership? And how can charities make collaborations work when time and resources are limited?
This practical 90-minute session will introduce you to the world of influencer marketing and show you how charities can work effectively and authentically with creators.
You’ll learn how to identify the right people for your organisation, approach and work with influencers confidently, and build collaborations that feel genuine and deliver value for everyone involved. We’ll also explore examples of successful charity influencer campaigns and what you can learn from them.
What you’ll learn
In this session, you’ll discover:
- Why working with influencers could be valuable for your charity, from reaching new audiences to building trust.

- What makes a collaboration feel genuine and work well for both the charity and creator.
