100 million hours of video are watched on Facebook every day and experts say one minute of video is worth 1.8 million words*. That's why in today's 'video-first' world, it's more important than ever for organisations to be using video content as part of their communications strategy.
With this practical one-day workshop, you’ll learn the basic skills needed to create videos from scratch, using limited resources without sacrificing on quality. A hands-on learning environment will get you using your phone to make content that doesn’t look like it was made on a phone.
You’ll be led by an expert filmmaker who will give you the opportunity to ask questions about what equipment and filming style best suits your needs. Your training will end with the chance to practice what you’ve learned by filming and editing a short piece with support and feedback from your trainer.
This beginners’ course is ideal for you if you want to start using film for your organisation’s communications but have limited experience and budget.
I feel more confident in my ability to make decent footage, which will help with improving my organisations video based content.
