About this event

The COP26 UN Climate Conference kicks off on 31 October and presents a key opportunity for environmental charities looking to engage audiences and mobilise climate action. From the live events in Glasgow, to the hundreds of climate themed activities across the country marking the UK’s hosting of COP26, there will be ample moments to capture content, share stories and raise awareness of environmental issues.

In this session, you’ll learn best practice to apply on Twitter during the conference. We’ll share insights on the platform from Twitter UK’s Twitter for Good team, as well as techniques for charities hoping to gain traction with their Twitter campaigns during and after COP26.

Attendees will take away tangible learnings and result-driven strategies to apply within their own organisations.

This masterclass will be an opportunity to learn and explore the following topics first hand:

  • Insights on Twitter for Good’s COP26 activities and opportunities for charities
  • Best practice on Twitter to amplify your tweets and engage new audiences
  • Practical tips for harnessing climate-themed hashtags, emojis and events
