We are a small charity with only one member of staff and 200 volunteers. We launched our crowdfund in August to raise money for roof repairs to help with the restoration of Bannockburn House-a 17th Century Jacobite mansion house in Bannockburn, the scene of historic battles just out side of Stirling. So far it has raised £2,500 of a £100,000 target.

We are looking for someone with social media skills ideally with experience of crowdfunding campaigns to provide advice and support on how to broaden our reach, make the ask and write engaging posts.

The deterioration of the house is impeding our events and fundraising activity which ensure the house and the trust itself is commercially sustainable. We are also concerned that we will reach a point of no return with the condition of the house and it will be lost to history. It is hoped the impact of this volunteering will be to raise the £100,000 which will ensure the house is wind and watertight and will be able to continue to deliver services to the local community.
