This project aims to create a series of impactful 1-2 minute films highlighting the diverse faces of trauma and its far-reaching consequences. Each film will focus on a distinct source of trauma, illustrating its power to change lives and reshape worlds. Through compelling storytelling and expert insights, we'll raise awareness, challenge stigma, and inspire action.

Objectives:

  • Raise awareness of trauma's prevalence and impact
  • Destigmatize trauma and encourage open dialogue
  • Motivate viewers to take action through support, advocacy, or prevention

Target Audience: General public, healthcare professionals, educators, policymakers

Film Themes: Childhood trauma, interpersonal violence, birth trauma, accidents, veterans' experiences, sudden loss

Film Style: Short, visually compelling, emotionally resonant, narrative-driven with personal stories and expert commentary.

Call to Action: Each film concludes with a clear directive, guiding viewers to resources or organizations for further engagement.

Distribution: Utilize social media, online platforms, partner organizations, and community screenings.
