"Finding Light" - An Animated Short on Suicide Loss

The Communication Problem:

Grief after suicide is often complex and isolating. Those bereaved by suicide may struggle with guilt, stigma, and a lack of understanding from others. "Finding Light" aims to open up conversations about this difficult experience.

Skills Needed:

We need talented animators and storytellers to bring this project to life. Key skills include:

• Animation: 2D animation, character design, and visual storytelling.
• Storyboarding: Developing a clear narrative structure and visual flow.
• Sound Design: Creating an immersive and emotionally resonant soundscape.
• Research: Sensitivity and understanding of the complexities of suicide bereavement.

Impact:

• Public: "Finding Light" will raise awareness, promote empathy, and encourage open conversations about suicide loss. It will offer solace to those bereaved by suicide and provide insight for their support networks.
