Women's Association for Networking and Development

Communications strategy needed to support major transition plan

WAND is looking for a volunteer with skills in planning and executing comms strategies to help the charity plan for the planned change in leadership to a more sustainable model.

This is an opportunity to announce the new appointment, amplify the reach and recognition of the charity and the services it provides to a wider audience and generate interest in the services WAND provides. We need help to plan and execute comms with all key stakeholders including staff, volunteers, current service users, funders, local authority, local communities and the charity sector.

Ideally, the volunteer would be able to work with us to identify key channels and contacts, draft copy and press releases, website and social media content and updates, bios and profile pieces. We want to use this positive development in the history of WAND as a platform to let more women and girls know about how we can help them.
