Advertising Week: Revealing the results of our Charity Challenge

Posted 23 March 2017

Yesterday, (Thursday 23 March), we teamed up with Facebook at Advertising Week Europe to deliver our session From Brief to Output in One Day: The Results.

Activity began behind the scenes on Monday 20 March. Social housing charity, Soha Housing, challenged a cross-agency, multi-discipline team of expert volunteers to help them change perceptions of social housing tenants. The team included creatives from advertising agencies BBH and AMV BBDO, plus creative strategists and planners from Facebook. Most noteworthy, the team were given a shoestring budget and just one day to devise an ingenious campaign that would wow the charity and their industry peers.

The team presented the results of their challenge to a panel of industry leaders, chaired by Media Trust Trustee and BBC Economics Editor, Kamal Ahmed.

The panel included: Ed Couchman, Director of Agency Partnerships, Facebook; Bridget Angear, Joint Chief Strategy Officer, AMV BBDO; Amelia Torode, Chief Strategy Officer at large and Jon Peppiatt, Chairman, BBH London.

Finally, the presentation was followed by questions from the panel, Soha Housing and audience members.
