Creating accessible content for charities

24 Nov

Tuesday 24 November 2026 10:00 - 12:00

Learn how to create accessible content that removes barriers and helps more people engage with your charity

Training was great, massively appreciated that Jodie made the session accessible - practicing what you teach! Really informative, this will be used to inform our content strategy and help us increase the inclusivity of our posts.

Did you know around 20% of the population live with a disability? Yet despite this, much of the content we create online still isn’t fully accessible. Whether it’s a newsletter that’s isn’t screen reader friendly, or a social media post without alt text, many people can be unintentionally excluded from your charity’s messaging due to inaccessible content

This practical workshop will help you create clearer, more inclusive content across your charity’s communications. Through simple, practical improvements, you’ll learn how to make your content easier to read, navigate and understand, helping more people engage with your message while building accessibility into your everyday communications.

If you are a Postcode Lottery grantee and the session is fully booked or your code isn’t being accepted, please email osianb@mediatrust.org to be added to the waitlist.
