Digital Skills Masterclass: Glasgow

28 Mar

Thursday 28 March 2019 09:15 - 14:30

In a rapidly evolving digital world, there is increased need for charities to enhance their digital communications knowledge and implement a digital strategy which will help them to reach new supporters and deliver successful online campaigns. However, when resources and budgets are stretched, this can prove difficult for many charities.

That’s why, over the last six months, we have been travelling around the UK offering free digital skills training to charities and community groups, delivered through local masterclasses and mentoring. And now, we’re excited to bring these workshops to new locations in 2019!

On 28 March, join Media Trust, with support from Google Digital Garage, along with a host of like-minded charities, community groups and experts for a unique masterclass dedicated to developing your digital marketing knowledge.

The masterclass will cover topics such as Social Media Strategy and Building a Digital Marketing Plan delivered by a team of Google mentors. You will also have an opportunity to discuss your specific digital communications challenges with, and receive advice from, media and communications experts.

The Masterclass got me really inspired about improving our digital marketing strategy. It was a great balance of big picture advice and small picture practical tips.

This event is part of a UK-wide training programme run by Media Trust which is aimed at upskilling the UK charity sector’s digital knowledge and skills through local masterclasses, mentoring and online learning. You can find out more about the wider programme here.

This was so engaging, informative and inspiring. I feel reinvigorated to go back to my organisation and update how we approach the digital world.
