Websites are an essential tool for effective digital comms. This masterclass will help you to identify simple but effective changes you can make to improve your charity’s website, with little or no budget required!

Drawing on his many years’ experience of developing websites for charities, Thomas Nadin, Co-Founder and Technical Director of Few and Far, will share some practical tips to help make your site work harder for you, and inspire your audience to take action. Whether you want to communicate with the people you support or inspire new donors or volunteers, this session will give you plenty of inspiration and advice on how to get started.

In this masterclass you will learn:

  • Why it matters to have an up-to-date and accessible website
  • How simple changes can drive action for your stakeholders
  • Practical, low-cost strategies and tools for improving your website

This event will be run as part of Websites Unlocked, a programme of learning from Media Trust. It takes place during Small Charities Week as part of Media Trust’s activities to support small charities across the sector.

Level

Beginner/Intermediate: this masterclass is designed for charity professionals who have communications as part of their job role or responsibility for the day-to-day management of their charity’s digital communications or website.

There is no preparation required, and no technical knowledge of website design or development is necessary.

Your trainer

Thomas Nadin is the Co-Founder and Technical Director of Few and Far. Tom once created one of the ‘Best inventions of 2015’ as voted for by Times magazine and has previously been a technical lead at agencies across both Leeds and London.

Tom has a degree in Software Engineering and has developed platforms and systems for clients including Harley Davidson, National Rail, Stokke, St. George’s Crypt and Mind in Bradford.
