For journalists: Stronger Voices – Speed Pitching

Stronger Voices funded by City Bridge Foundation, is a Media Trust strategic communications programme, designed to strengthen the voices of equality organisations in London. Over 6 months, a cohort of 20 charitable organisations undergo comprehensive communications and media engagement training with us. 

We’re looking for journalists to join our virtual speed pitching event on Thursday 27 March to support our equalities organisations to master pitching their stories. Over the course of an hour, eight of the organisations will deliver a 60-90 second pitch to you in virtual breakout rooms. You’ll then provide concise guidance on how they can hone their pitch and increase their traction with the press.  

Media Trust’s speed-pitching events have received support from outlets including the Guardian, Reuters, the Telegraph, Bloomberg and the Metro and are hugely impactful for the charities involved.  This is a closed event and would require no prep or follow-up from your side, unless – of course – you’d like to.  

The best-case scenario is that you find a story!
