Charity film project (EBSA) request for student/pro-bono filmmaking partnership
We are seeking support to create a short, high-impact film that shares the lived experiences of children, young people, and families affected by Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).
Our communications challenge is to bring these often unheard voices to life through an engaging, emotionally intelligent film that can be used on our website, social channels, and at professional events to raise awareness and influence practice. We have access to participants, safeguarding and mental-health expertise, and clear messaging about our mission — but we lack professional filmmaking, editing, and storytelling skills.
We need a volunteer with experience in documentary or charity-sector film production, including filming interviews, editing footage, and shaping narrative flow. Success will look like a 3–5 minute film that powerfully conveys the impact of EBSA and the difference our charity makes, reaching educators, funders, and families.
This film will help us communicate our message more effectively, strengthen partnerships with schools and local authorities, and attract vital funding. Ultimately, it will amplify the voices of young people whose stories can change how schools and services respond to EBSA.
