Bail for Immigration Detainees

Communications specialist needed to support charity strategy

BID is an independent charity working to end immigration detention in the UK through legal advice, representation, and advocacy.

We seek communications support to grow our capacity, create our social media strategy, improve our website user experience, and enhance our email marketing and supporter engagement.

We don’t expect a volunteer to take on all of these areas, but to contribute their expertise where it’s most relevant.

With only one part-time Communications and Fundraising Manager, we need skilled volunteer input in strategy development, Mailchimp template design and configuration, and media outreach.

Success for us would mean a clear, consistent communications approach that grows our audience, increases engagement, and drives more people to join our mailing list or support our cause.

Strengthening our communications will help us reach people in detention with vital legal information and build wider public support to end the injustice of immigration detention.
