Communication Volunteer:

ECPAT UK is seeking a volunteer podcast editor to support the production of a new podcast series focused on issues related to child exploitation, trafficking, and modern slavery. The role will involve editing approximately three hours of recorded audio and shaping it into 3–4 engaging, high-quality podcast episodes. The volunteer will be responsible for cleaning and enhancing audio, structuring episodes in line with a provided brief, and ensuring consistency in sound and tone across the series. This includes applying branding elements and ensuring the final episodes are polished and ready for publication.

Key requirements:

• Experience with audio editing
• Familiarity with Adobe audio editing software and Audacity
• Ability to follow briefs and directions provided prior to editing
• Strong organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to estimate editing time for tasks

Desirable:

• An understanding of the sector we work in, including child exploitation, trafficking, and modern slavery
