My Sister's Place
Domestic Abuse charity seeking guidance / support with social media.
As a charity we simply don't have the funds to employ someone in a role specifically to cover our marketing and social media needs. Our newly appointed Community Fundraiser will be picking it up within their role but with very little experience in this area.
They have identified that we need to use our social media channels to raise our profile, tell our story and the impact of our work, but also to engage with new supporters in relation to fundraising. Whilst they are confident in what they think we need to do they are not confident in how to go about it.
We are looking for a volunteer who is experienced in using social media to help us achieve the above goals and who will be able to support, guide and advise our fundraiser. Our focus platforms are Facebook and Instagram but we are also looking to start using linked in.
This support would guide and build the confidence of our community fundraiser allowing them to create engaging content, run fundraising campaigns, show the public and potential funders what we do through success stories from people we have helped. Our fundraiser is super keen to learn and get going.
