Female IT Skills Volunteer

Purpose of the Role:
To support the delivery of engaging and inclusive IT skills sessions as part of the Baytree Centre’s GEMS programme for girls aged 5–18. By creating a safe, inspiring, and supportive environment, you will help participants develop their computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while also building their confidence in using technology. Working alongside staff, you will assist with planning, facilitating, and supporting activities that make learning digital skills enjoyable and accessible. 

Main Responsibilities: 

- Assist in preparing and facilitating IT-focused after-school sessions, providing guidance and encouragement to participants. 

- Support the delivery of age-appropriate computer skills activities that promote learning, creativity, and personal development. 

- Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, activity planning, and organising resources to ensure smooth running of sessions. 

- Adhere to Baytree Centre policies and safeguarding procedures. 

 This role is open to female applicants only (Equality Act 2010: Schedule 9: Occupational Requirements). Applicants must be 18 years or older.
