Jo Cox Foundation is asking people to take part in Great Get Together events during the weekend of 19-21st June to mark the 10th anniversary of the murder of Jo Cox MP by a right wing extremist. We would love to capture as much footage as possible of these events, which will be happening all over the country and really need the help of some media professionals to help make it happen! The longer term hope is that this footage can be used to craft a short film that JCF can use in future to spread awareness about Jo, her achievements and legacy, as well as all the wonderful things people have come together to make happen in response to her death. JCF is very grateful for any help offered - but sadly we can't currently extend any financial support in return. We'd be delighted to interest film-makers of all skillsets and backgrounds to take part. If this is a project that you feel passionate about (as we at JCF do), then we're also open to possible wider involvement to help bring the final film to life.
