Help us secure media coverage for ROLDA’s 20th anniversary
ROLDA is celebrating 20 years of rescuing homeless dogs in Romania and recently in war-torn Ukraine, and we want to leverage this milestone to raise awareness and attract new supporters.
We have compelling stories, professional copywriters producing content, and strong social media presence, but we lack the media contacts and PR expertise to get our 20th anniversary featured in print publications or online media outlets. We need someone to guide us on pitching to journalists, identifying the right publications, and turning our anniversary into newsworthy coverage.
We're looking for a volunteer with media relations or PR experience, particularly someone who understands how to pitch to journalists, knows which publications cover animal welfare/charity stories, and can advise us on creating press releases and media kits that get results.
Success would be securing pieces of media coverage in relevant lifestyle magazines, national newspapers and online platforms, generating increased visibility that translates into new donors and volunteers. This increased media presence would help us reach more potential adopters, donors, and supporters who don't yet know about the invaluable work ROLDA does.
