Marketing and PR expert needed to design 50th anniversary project strategy
SAVE Britain’s Heritage is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025 with a series of activities aimed at promoting the reuse of historic buildings. We are seeking support to develop a comprehensive marketing & PR strategy that will unify these activities, ensure high visibility, and build engagement with our target audiences.
Goals
- Increase number of paid supporters and visitors to our channels
- Secure significant national press attention
Deliverables may include
- Support establishing core messaging and approach to storytelling.
- Support defining target audience (significant work has already been completed in this area).
- High-level competitor review.
- A cohesive marketing strategy that integrates all activities that can be implemented across the year by the SAVE team.
- Clear milestones and KPI’s, (e.g., social media followers, newsletter sign-ups, event attendance, media coverage) and methods for tracking and measuring progress.
- Digital marketing budget plan.
- Content Strategy, guidance on asset creation (e.g., social media content, promotional materials, etc.)
- Support securing feature articles in national papers/mags/podcast slots/social media influencers to coincide with and promote programme.
Skills required
- Experience developing marketing strategies for heritage, culture, or similar sectors.
- Ability to create a detailed, actionable marketing plan that can be used by our team.
- Experience placing stories in the national media
