Marketing/Communications expert to support the launch of our new radio station

We are looking to launch our new community radio station in the first half of 2025. We need to develop an engaging and professional launch plan which will firmly establish us in the minds of local people, local community groups, businesses, and public sector organisations.

We are seeking someone with experience in launching services, particularly within the charity/non-profit sector. We hope to find someone with a range of skills, but especially in marketing and public relations. We have volunteers with communication, digital marketing, and event management skills who are ready to support this initiative.

Success would be a successful launch event that creates a buzz across the local area, garners significant media and social media coverage, and engages local people through a positive and impactful event or series of events. This will firmly establish the new radio station as a community asset, increase listeners, and provide airtime for local community groups. Additionally, it will help us recruit more volunteers and increase our income through advertising and sponsorship.
