Festival of The Girl

Marketing expert needed to help create strategy for young girls’ initiative

We want to reach a million girls in the next five years and we can't do that without a strong marketing strategy in place. Although we have a lot of content, ideas and plans we need a marketing expert to help bring that to life and to help with our outreach. Being that our festivals are aimed at 7-11 year olds our main audience when we're marketing is adults (parents, teachers etc).

We hope to work with someone who can:

  • Create a marketing strategy to allow for growth in all areas of our non-profit
  • Create a social media strategy and advise/ help with content
  • Support with tailoring messages for different audiences such as parents / carers and potential sponsors / partners
  • Deepen our understanding of our audience needs and support with creating specific copywriting and marketing materials
  • Support/understanding with working with paid advertising and how it might benefit us

Success would be measured by improved marketing materials and clearer communication, helping to reach more parents / carers / teachers and diversify funding.

We believe in a world where gender stereotypes no longer limit kids' potential. With accessible global festivals and campaigns Festival of The Girl was created to empower young girls (aged 7-11) to breakdown stereotypes with confidence, while equipping parents / carers with the tools to guide them.

Your expertise will mean we can reach more girls and you will be helping to grow our grassroots movement into a global movement. You will be helping:

- the younger generation to understand what stereotypes are and that they always have a choice
- to inspire more girls to realise how much the world has to offer and give them the confidence to create and follow their dreams
- to create a more gender equal future by engaging not only with more girls and their families but also boys

In the last six years we've impacted over 30k girls. In the next 5 years we want to impact a million girls and start impacting boys too. But we can't do it without your help.
