Media expertise needed to help develop and implement an effective media strategy

Communicating about the financial system, and especially finance policy & regulation, can be really tricky. The content is often complex, and seen as niche. But it plays a central role in some of the biggest problems that our society faces, including extreme inequality and the climate crisis. For better or for worse, it affects millions of lives here and around the world.

Influencing the narrative around the role of the finance, and building broader engagement and support for efforts to change the system, is really key for us. We see media as central to this.

But we don't have much in-house experience or capacity to scale up our media work.

We're looking for support to help us develop a media strategy and approach that makes sense for the capacity we have, to help us achieve our goals.

Including how we go about building relationships with journalists; approaches we should be prioritising; content we could be generating etc.

Help with writing a good strategy would be great - but then any further support to help us learn as we go with implementing it would also be hugely valuable for us.
