Following our recent charity milestone of opening our holiday respite accommodation for families affected by childhood cancer, there are broadcast media and public speaking opportunities to fulfil, ranging from TV and radio interviews to school assembly talks and promotional films on social media.In order to leverage all of these elements successfully and effectively for the good of the charity on an ongoing basis and to help raise our profile, I am looking for some media training.I really want to overcome nerves, which I find a hindrance and I tend to waffle. I've the capability (i.e. foundation) to be a confident, succinct and impactful speakerhowever, I need some professional guidance to coax me. I want to embrace being the 'face'of the charity as this will help open doors. If anyone with experience can help me and the charity, I shall be very grateful.
