PR expert needed to secure press showing impact of social care on people’s lives
Use your PR skills to highlight the life-changing value of social care! We're looking for an experienced PR expert to help us kick start our press work and showcase the positive impact of social care on people’s lives. You’ll be pitching and securing press coverage that highlights the success stories of people we support, celebrates the role of social care and support workers, and reinforces how social care can change lives. We're looking for someone with a strong PR background who wants to use their skills to make a meaningful difference.
What you’ll do:
- Craft messaging that highlights the value of social care and the ways it can support people’s growth, independence and community involvement.
- Help us in identifying media outlets and securing press opportunities for stories about disability, social care and inclusion.
- Create and distribute press releases and feature articles showing the impact of social care on people’s lives.
Who you’ll be:
- Someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on sensitive and inclusive language.
- Passionate about showing the positive impact of social care and supporting people with disabilities.
- Familiar with the issues and challenges faced by people with learning disabilities, autism, and sight loss (desirable).
- Confident about your established network of media contacts (desirable).
