Raise Awareness on Knife Crime, Violence, and Incarceration
We are seeking support to develop a clear communications strategy to highlight rising knife crime, school absence, and violence affecting our community. While we have strong lived experience, community trust, and active social media platforms, we need help turning this into structured, high-impact content. We are looking for a volunteer with skills in digital storytelling, social media strategy, and content creation to support an Instagram-led campaign and short documentary project. Success for us would be a consistent, engaging online presence that raises awareness, increases followers, and drives community engagement and support. We also want to clearly communicate real-life stories and the consequences of crime in a way that influences young people positively. This support would strengthen our outreach, helping us reach wider audiences and attract partners and funding. Ultimately, it will help us empower vulnerable individuals, reduce harm, and promote safer futures within our community.
