I am the administrator responsible for social media communications for a local dementia charity that provides free social activities to help ease isolation for people living locally with dementia.

I currently post details of activities and upcoming events around two or three times per week, creating posts on Canva. I’d like help designing posts that engage more of our members and promote our fundraising events. Any marketing will need to take into account the age of our members, so we’re looking for someone who can create content suited to this demographic.

We currently have over 1,000 followers, but we’d like help interacting and collaborating with other local community and carer groups to increase awareness of our free services and activities.

We hope this support will increase our likes, shares, and attendance at memory cafés and events - especially in more deprived areas where dementia is just as prevalent but uptake of our services is low. We’d also like to see greater participation in our fundraising events.
