Our objectives 'Spirit Level Youth Construction'is a newly-created, south London-based, registered charity based within the borough of Lambeth and providing construction skills training for young, black-heritage males between the ages of 16 - 24, at risk of societal exclusion/potential involvement with the Youth Justice System - who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET). The impacts of our organisation are the qualifications gained by our beneficiaries leading to opportunities of further education, employment, and self-employment. This is your chance to help support the eventual goal to promote and develop our activities, empowering a large section of the younger community, with the organisation’s self-sustaining programmes. We envisage that within 3 years, by partnering with other organisations, we will also be able to provide cultural, social, artistic/creative initiatives, focusing on additional basic educational courses to compliment the construction skills qualifications.
