Social media expert needed to design strategy for upcoming Instagram appeal

Qisetna is an arts and heritage organization that uses storytelling to preserve Syrian and Middle Eastern cultural memory. Its latest project, “Return to Tenderness,” explores music heritage and community building, aiming to reconnect diasporic communities through shared soundscapes, oral histories, and traditional music practices.

Despite the project's cultural depth and emotional resonance, Qisetna is struggling to cut through digital noise and meaningfully engage its target audience.

The ideal candidate is a culturally aware and creative social media strategist with proven experience in storytelling, community engagement, and growing audiences across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

This role will help foster a stronger sense of identity, belonging, and cultural continuity among displaced and diasporic individuals. In doing so, it will directly support Qisetna’s mission to preserve and celebrate cultural heritage through storytelling, connection, and community-building.
