Open Homes Nottingham
Social media expert needed to help small charity set up comms strategy
We’re looking for a communications professional to help Open Homes Nottingham – a small local charity supporting homeless young people – to develop a clear, joined-up communications strategy.
We currently share updates across our newsletter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, but our approach could be more streamlined and strategic. We want to capture and share more of the great stories and impact happening across our work, and grow our audience to attract new hosts, volunteers and supporters (particularly for campaigns like The Big Give).
We’re seeking someone with experience in communications planning, social media strategy, and content scheduling who can help us create a simple, sustainable system. We’d like two staff members to be trained so that we can confidently implement and maintain the plan going forward.
Success would mean having a clear strategy for what we post, when and why — and a confident, consistent voice across all our channels. This will help us reach more people who can offer their time, homes, or donations, ensuring that young people in crisis can find safety and support when they need it most.
