MathsMakers is an education charity supporting students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to improve maths attainment and confidence through targeted programmes in schools and online.We are looking for a volunteer to provide hands-on support and guidance in creating video content for social media. We are happy to film content ourselves but need help understanding which tools to use (e.g. Canva, CapCut or similar), how to edit videos effectively, and how to fix common issues such as mistakes, timing, and formatting for different platforms.We would also value some support in understanding our social media analytics (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Buffer), with a focus on simple, practical insights rather than complex analysis.Success for us would be developing the confidence and skills to independently create and edit engaging video content, alongside a clearer understanding of what is working and why. This would help us improve the quality of our content, reach more schools and educators, and ultimately support more students through our programmes.
