Social Media Video Creation
<span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px">We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys storytelling and wants to help bring real-life experiences to life through video. This project will focus on creating engaging video content that highlights the journeys of people who use our transport services, as well as the volunteers who make those journeys possible.<span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px"> <span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px">The goal is to demonstrate the positive impact of our services, showing how they help people stay connected and improve their quality of life. Through these stories, we hope to inspire more people to support us, whether through donations, volunteering, or partnerships.<span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px"> <span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px">As part of this project, you will create two video stories: one focusing on a service user and one on a volunteer. These will be produced as longer-form videos for YouTube and shorter 30–45 second edits for social media.<span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px">While you don’t need to be a specialist filmmaker, we are looking for someone with a solid foundation in video production and a strong sense of storytelling, who is confident working independently and engaging with participants.<span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px"> <strong style="color: blackfont-size: 13px">Key skills and experience:<span style="font-size: 13px">Experience filming and editing video content, with a good understanding of composition, lighting, and sound<span style="font-size: 13px">Ability to plan and structure a compelling story, from interview through to final edit<span style="font-size: 13px">Confidence conducting interviews and putting people at ease on camera<span style="font-size: 13px">Strong communication skills and a warm, professional approach<span style="font-size: 13px">Sensitivity and emotional intelligence when working with older people, disabled people, and volunteers<span style="color: blackfont-size: 13px">The videos will help us build an emotional connection with our audience by showing our real-world impact through the voices of the people we support. They will be used across marketing campaigns to raise awareness, drive donations, recruit new volunteers, and attract corporate support.
