Volunteer Editor Needed: Shape a Book to Destigmatize Mental Health Language

We urgently need an experienced volunteer editor to finalize a book exploring the critical link between language and mental health. This book aims to challenge societal stigma embedded in our language and raise vital funds for a suicide prevention charity through book sales. The editor will refine the existing content for clarity, flow, grammar, and consistency, ensuring a high-quality paperback and potential e-book.

We seek someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong narrative understanding, excellent communication skills, and sensitivity to mental health issues. Experience with developmental, line, and copyediting, as well as publishing conventions, is highly desirable.

Success will be a well-received, error-free book generating significant funds for the charity and increasing public awareness about the impact of language on mental well-being. This project will empower individuals facing mental health challenges, educate the public, and directly support our mission of preventing suicide by providing crucial financial resources.
