Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF)
Volunteer Media Spokesperson Trainer
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF) is seeing growing interest from regional and broadcast media and we want to ensure our CEO and Chair of Trustee are confident and well-prepared when representing the organisation publicly.
We are seeking an experienced media professional to deliver spokesperson training for our CEO and Chair of Trustees, with a focus on broadcast interviews, key message discipline and handling any challenging questions that may come their way. As we are a Trust and Foundation funding various grassroot organisations across the region, the topics can be incredibly broad.
We are looking for a volunteer with strong experience in journalism, broadcast media, PR or media training who understands how to communicate clearly and calmly under pressure.
Success would mean our CEO and Chair feel confident engaging with broadcast and print media, can articulate HIWCF’s impact succinctly, and are well-equipped to respond to sensitive or complex issues. This support will strengthen HIWCF’s public profile, build trust with audiences across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and ultimately help us reach more communities and direct funding where it is most needed.
