MumsAid Maternal Mental Health
Volunteer Filmmaker Needed to Help Capture MumsAid’s Impact & Transform Lives!
Are you a passionate filmmaker looking to use your skills to make a real difference? MumsAid is seeking a volunteer filmmaker with editing expertise to help us tell the powerful stories of the mothers we support.
We want to create a compelling short film that captures the impact of our work through interviews with mums, staff, and partners, highlighting our expertise in perinatal mental health. This film will be a key tool in engaging funders and partners while also resonating with the mums who need our support.
We’re looking for someone with their own kit—including a camera, basic lighting, and sound—who is comfortable filming mothers and babies sensitively and respectfully.
Success will be a high-quality, engaging film that clearly conveys our impact and can also be edited into shorter clips for social media. Your contribution will be invaluable, helping us raise awareness, strengthen partnerships, and reach more mothers in need.
If you’re a skilled filmmaker eager to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Citizens Advice St Albans District
Filmmaker wanted to produce short promo video for local Citizens Advice charity
The communication challenge
Although we are part of the Citizens Advice network in England and Wales, it is not widely known that we are an independent local charity with responsibility for raising our own income and securing our future financial stability. In the current fiscal climate with its squeeze on public spending, we are keen to attract further funding sources to ensure our crucial work within the community continues to survive and grow.
Who we are looking for
We need a professional filmmaker to help us produce a short promotional video (2 minutes max) to showcase our work to potential funders and the wider community. The video will be an important visual aid in promoting a better understanding of what we do, who we help and how. Although primarily it will be used to secure extra funding it will also be used in our ongoing recruitment drive for volunteers. We will identify a variety of clients whom we have successfully helped and are willing to talk about their personal journey and the impact it’s had on their lives. We will also work with you to produce a compelling human interest storyboard.

WordPress wizard need to bring a concept to life
We have a new brand and a new website designed, we now need life breathing into it. We use WordPress and are looking for someone to bring our wireframe to the world. We are a small charity and use our website (coupled with social media) as our window to the world of young people and corporate businesses. Simply put, the better the website the more engagement we get, the more money we raise and the more disadvantaged young people we can help.
