It’s back and bigger and better than ever! The 2019 Media Industry World Cup will take place on Saturday 11 May at Powerleague Nine Elms.
It’s time to get training as the Media Industry World Cup in aid of Media Trust returns.
We’re predicting another thrilling day of football at Powerleague Nine Elms, with giants from the world of broadcast, advertising, production and media battling it out on the pitch. So gather your office football stars and bring your a-game!
We’ve taken this year’s prizes up a notch. As if the glory of winning the title and the trophy wasn’t enough, victory will taste even sweeter in 2019 as our Media Industry World Cup winners will also win a money can’t buy prize! Prepare to rub shoulders with footballing royalty thanks to our sponsors Sky Sports, as you join the legendary cast and crew behind the scenes at the filming of Monday Night Football at Sky Sports Studios.
There’s a new Golden Boot Award for our highest goal scorer, as well as a chance to win an exciting prize from Gillette Skills Arena.
With a brand new venue, you’ll be able to soak up some early May sunshine post-match in our outdoor bar. Trust us, this year’s Media Industry World Cup is not to be missed!
You can enter a team of up to ten players of men and women, consisting of five players and up to five substitutes.
Prepare for some serious competition as you come head-to-head with the other teams on the pitch for the most exciting football fixture in the calendar.
Media Trust will provide the administrative support from the moment you sign up until the final whistle blows. We will also provide you with materials that you can use to promote the tournament internally.
